"The Association of Jamaicans in Richmond!"

Jamaica’s CULTURE is reflected in everything that we do.  Our CULTURE influences and affects our belief system and the goals that we set for our future.  No matter how far we as Jamaicans travel from our homeland, we are drawn together by this belief system and the need to share this CULTURE through our food, music, work ethic and the gold, green and black –our flag.  It is no surprise, therefore, that throughout this country, and the world even, that cultural organizations such as the Association of Jamaicans in Richmond, Inc (AJR) exist.  AJR strives to bring our people together, celebrate what is common amongst us, and establish friendships within our adopted communities.
